Google kpro and it will tell you more. Its to make your ecu compliant with the motor.
I've never used KPRO before and everyone tells me I have to get it to do the k20z1 swap into my EP3 and to use my a3 ECU. What exactly do I need to do with KPRO to make it work? Walking me through step by step would be greatly appreciated.

hahaha sheesh i wish it was that easy.
kpro will allow you to have complete control of any k series engine.
so, if you have kpro, you can tune any k series engine.
it would take hours and hours and hours to explain how this thing works.
thats why a good tuner can make a decent living, tuning cars.
i used my a3 ecu for kpro and did my research. i was able to register and set a preloaded kal that had upgrades similar to what i was using. the car ran well, but needed a tune to be at full potential.
when i swapped in my k20a, i was able to load another preloaded kal and get the engine running well enough to get it to my tuner.
a good tune is NOT cheap. but once again...a good tune IS worth every penny.
