The k20a is usually too expensive to justify not buying an a2 and using the extra funds to mod it. As talon once said, "give me the money to buy a K20A and I'll purchase and modify an A2 that will run circles around your JDM engine." I'm a fan of N/A, and turbo is going to pair better with a lower compression engine, but you could meet your 400 goal with a turbo'd A2, if that's what you wanna do.
Cliffs: if it's a 2.0, just get an A2. If you really wanna boost it, go for it. Don't waste the money on an A just to boost it and be disappointed.
